In February 2017, we were commissioned to install a Benson PVN30, natural gas fired, floor standing cabinet heater, into these newly renovated 3,500 sq. ft. car parts warehouse.

This car parts supplier was moving into newly renovated premises. Warmco were asked by the main contractor, a previous customer, to install a heating system which would fit the heating requirements of this space. We installed a 30kw PVN floor standing cabinet heater which has an air throw of 18m and two rotating nozzles, which allow the end user to push warm air into the desired locations within the building. We were able to fit a fan assisted, room sealed flue, which allowed fresh air to be drawn into the burner from outside, for more efficient heat generation. We scheduled our day's work on site, to fit alongside that of the main contractor, in order to create minimal disruption to their progress.

This was a project dating back to December 2016, where Warmco were asked to replace some existing heating in this warehouse / workshop with a Winterwarm, natural gas fired, TR80, suspended, warm air heater.

This workshop space, had previously been heated by a Powrmatic PGUH suspended unit heater, which had been condemned and required replacement. We installed a Winterwarm, TR80, natural gas fired, suspended unit heater. This was fitted with a room-sealed flue system, which draws in clean air from outside the building to increase the efficiency of the heater. This installation was completed within a day, to reduce disruption to our customer and it was scheduled in within two weeks of receiving the enquiry, to fit in with our customer's requirements.

In November 2016 Vintage Clothing commissioned Warmco to install two Winterwarm, suspended, gas fired, warm air heaters, into this 6,000 sq. ft. warehouse unit.

This customer asked us to replace two older, obsolete, Ambirad UPA70/90 space heaters which had broken down. They were keen to be able to keep the products in their warehouse area damp free, and the workforce happy. Our modulating heaters automatically switch to low fire, once the thermostat detects that the area is at the desired temperature, (so the TR80 can fire from 76kw down to 47kw and the TR60, from 60 down to 38kw). This can offer a saving saving of up to 30% on fuel costs (compared to non-modulating heaters). The whole installation was completed within two days, and we were careful to work around the customer, so that we didn't impede their access for picking products.

In November 2016, Warmco were asked to install a Winterwarm TR80, gas fired, suspended, warm air space heater into this 5,000 sq.ft, warehouse as a replacement for an older Reznor UDSA100, which had reached the end of its life.

We were invited to install a modern, high efficiency heater into this warehouse space to offer a cost effective heating solution to our customer. This heater has a heat output of 76kw, which can be used to get the space up to temperature. However, once this has been achieved, it has the capacity to modulate its heat output down to 47kw, to 'top up' the heat as required. This offers a typical fuel cost saving of up to 30% against standard non-modulating models of heater.

This was a larger project undertaken in October 2016, where Warmco were asked to heat this refurbished industrial unit. We had installed four suspended, natural gas fired heaters; two Winterwarm TR80, one TR60 and a TR50 warm air unit heaters, alongside four WCU40 de-stratification fans.

As part of an expansion, this customer needed to heat a new 18,000 sq.ft. warehouse space. This dry goods supplier needed to keep the stock warehouse dry and the staff in the packing area warm. In 2015 we had installed a TR80 into their previous premises, so we moved this into the new building and added three more heaters to build a heating system with the correct capacity. Cumulatively, on full fire these heaters have a maximum heat output of 262kw which can be used to get the spaces to temperature, but once the thermostatic control panels register that they are up to the desired temperature they have the capacity to modulate down to 166kw, on low fire, to 'top up' the heat. They can also work independently to 'spot heat' particular areas. This modulation feature offers a fuel cost saving of up to 30% against standard non-modulating models of heater. We also installed four WCU60 heat recovery (de-stratification) fans into the six metre high space, to redistribute the heat that would gather at high levels. Typically, the addition of this type of equipment, would offer a fuel cost saving of around 30% to the end user. The installation took a week, during which time our engineers worked to create minimal disruption to the customer.

This was a larger project undertaken in August 2016, where Warmco were asked to heat two brand new 10,000 and 14,000 sq ft temporary buildings. We installed eight, natural gas fired, suspended, Winterwarm, TR80 warm air unit heaters, and nine WCU40 de-stratification fans.

As part of an expansion, this customer needed to heat new warehouse / workshop spaces. This tool supplier needed to keep the tools / parts storage area dry and the staff in the production area warm. We couldn't fix these heaters to the frame of these temporary buildings, so instead you can see from the photos that the frames which were bolted to the floor, offered the rigidity necessary for the gas pipework and heaters to be fixed in place. We chose to use a higher number of smaller heaters for this project because the buildings were long and narrow. Cumulatively, these heaters have a maximum heat output of 400kw which can be used to get the spaces to temperature, but once the thermostatic control panels register that they are up to the desired temperature they have the capacity to modulate down to 256kw, on low fire, to 'top up' the heat. They can also work independently to 'spot heat' particular areas. This modulation feature offers a fuel cost saving of up to 30% against standard non-modulating models of heater. We also installed nine heat recovery (de-stratification) fans into the six metre high space, to redistribute the heat that would gather at high levels. Typically, the addition of this type of equipment, would offer a fuel cost saving of around 30% to the end user. The installation took around three weeks (as we installed a large amount of gas pipework), during which time our engineers worked to create minimal disruption to the customer.

Warmco were asked in March 2016 to heat this brand new portal framed, 25,000 sq. ft warehouse unit in Thorne, Doncaster. We approached this, using a Winterwarm TR100 and two TR80, suspended, warm air, natural gas fired, heaters.

Warmco were asked to design and install a heating system which would keep the clothes dry and employees warm in this clothing warehouse. The TR100 heater has a maximum heat output of 101kw (and the TR80, 76kw), which can be used to get the space to temperature. However, once the thermostatic controls register that it is up to the desired temperature the TR100 has the capacity to modulate down to 65kw (and the TR80 to 47kw) on low fire, to simply 'top up' the heat. This modulation feature (from maximum cumulative output of 253kw down to 159kw), typically offers a fuel cost saving of up to 30% against standard non-modulating models. We also installed eight WCU40 heat recovery (de-stratification) fans to redistribute the heat that would gather at higher levels of this nine metre high building. Again, the addition of this type of equipment, can offer a fuel cost saving of around 30% to the end user. This installation was carefully scheduled to have the heaters fitted before the racking system was put in.

In September 2016, Warmco installed two Winterwarm TR80, propane fired, suspended, warm air unit heaters and four de-stratification fans into this 10,000sq.ft. warehouse near Craigavon, in Northern Ireland. We were commissioned by this previous customer, for whom we had completed works previously in Scotland, to heat this space and keeping the damp off their warehouse of luxury goods.

Two highly efficient Winterwarm TR80 modulating heaters were chosen to heat this distribution warehouse for our previous customer. The TR80s key feature is that when operating on full burn at 76kw, it can get the building up to the desired temperature quickly, then it can work on a lower power level of 47kw, to merely 'top up' the heat. This typically reduces fuel usage by up to 30%. The addition of the four WCU60 de-stratification fans to recirculate the heat that accumulates at high levels, will reduce the need to use the heaters on full power and in turn will reduce fuel consumption, typically by another 30%. The job was completed in four days to create minimal disruption to the customer.

This was a larger project undertaken in February 2016, where Warmco were asked to heat a larger 24,000 sq. ft. area during the renovation of these premises. We installed three, TR150 natural gas fired, suspended, Winterwarm, warm air heaters.

As part of a move to new premises, this customer, a knife / scissor manufacturer needed to heat their warehouse and staff in the workshop area warm. Cumulatively, these three 150 kw heaters would throw out 435kw of heat into this space, which can be used to get the space to temperature, but once the thermostatic control panel registers that it is up to the desired temperature they have the capacity to switch off, or modulate down to 273kw, on low fire, to 'top up' the heat. This offers a fuel cost saving of up to 30% against standard non-modulating models of heater. The Winterwarm TR150 is the largest suspended warm air heater that Warmco offers, an additional benefit being the powerful 35m warm air throw; making it ideal for heating bigger spaces. The installation took a week, during which time our engineers worked to create minimal disruption to the customer.

This was a larger project undertaken in January 2016, where Warmco were asked to heat two distinct areas within these brand new, well insulated 22,000 sq. ft. premises. We installed three natural gas fired, suspended, Winterwarm warm air heaters (two TR60s and a TR50) and six de-stratification fans.

As part of an expansion, this customer needed to heat a new warehouse / production space. This flooring manufacturer / supplier needed the warehouse to be kept dry and the staff in the production area to be kept warm. Cumulatively, these heaters have a maximum heat output of 170kw which can be used to get the space to temperature, but once the thermostatic control panel registers that it is up to the desired temperature they have the capacity to switch off, or modulate down to 108kw, on low fire, to 'top up' the heat. They can work independently to 'spot heat' particular areas. This offers a fuel cost saving of up to 30% against standard non-modulating models of heater. We also installed four WCU40 heat recovery (de-stratification) fans into the 7-8m high space, to redistribute the heat that would gather at high levels. Typically, the addition of this type of equipment, offers a fuel cost saving of around 30% to the end user. We were also asked to add an extra controller into the system, to allow the two TR60 heaters to automatically switch off, if the nearby roller-shutter door were to be left open; again reducing fuel consumption. The installation took just over a week, during which time our engineers worked to create minimal disruption to the customer.

Warmco were asked in December 2015 to heat an older 1970s warehouse / factory space in Oldham. We approached this, using Winterwarm TR60 and TR50, suspended, warm air, natural gas fired heaters.

Warmco were asked to remove some old obsolete floor standing cabinet heaters and to design and install a heating system which would keep the employees in this 3,000sq. ft. printing workshop warm, and heat a 3,000 sq.ft. warehouse space. The TR60 heater used in the production area has a maximum heat output of 60kw, which can be used to get the space to temperature, but once the thermostatic control panel registers that it is up to the desired temperature it has the capacity to switch off, or modulate down to 38kw on low fire, to 'top up' the heat. The TR50, in the warehouse modulates from 50 kw, down to 32. This modulation feature typically offers a fuel cost saving of up to 30% against standard non-modulating models of heater. We also installed two WCU40 heat recovery (de-stratification) fans to redistribute the heat that would gather at higher levels of this 6-8m high building. Again, the addition of this type of equipment, can offer a fuel cost saving of around 30% to the end user. The system installed was wired into the door switch so that when the factory door opens, the heaters automatically switch off, again saving unnecessary waste of energy. The installation was undertaken between Christmas and New Year to create minimal disruption to our customer's production.

Warmco were asked in December 2015 to heat a brand new portal framed storage facility at Longsight, Manchester. We approached this, using two Winterwarm TR50, suspended, warm air, natural gas fired, warm air unit heaters.

Warmco were asked to design a heating system which would heat this medium sized, well-insulated, 16,000 ft. factory space. This model of warm air space heater has an output of 50kw, which can be used to get the space up to temperature. However, once this has been achieved, it has the capacity to modulate its heat output down to 32kw, to “top up” the heat as required. This offers a typical fuel cost saving of up to 30% against standard non-modulating models of heater. We also installed four WCU60 heat recovery (de-stratification) fans to redistribute the heat that would gather at high levels. Typically, the addition of this type of equipment, offers a fuel cost saving of around 30% to the end user. The installation took four days. However, on this occasion we were asked to return to finally commission the system once the gas meter was installed.

This was a larger project undertaken in October 2015, where Warmco were asked to heat three distinct areas within these 17,000 sq. ft. premises. We installed three, natural gas fired, suspended, Winterwarm, warm air heaters (two TR50s and a TR28), and four de-stratification fans.

As part of an expansion, this customer needed to heat a new warehouse space. This pharmaceuticals supplier needed the warehouse to be kept dry and the staff in the distribution area to be kept warm. To achieve this, we installed two, Winterwarm TR50 warm air heaters, one at the despatch area at the front of the building, and the other suspended centrally under a mezzanine, to heat the area where the picking and packing activity was focussed.

We also installed the TR28 at the back of the warehouse to create a more even temperature throughout. The 9m high space also had four WCU40 de-stratification fans installed, to push the heat that gathers at the upper levels, down into the space below. Cumulatively, these heaters have a 128kw heat output, but once the space is up to temperature they have the capacity to modulate down to 82kw, on low fire. This offers a fuel cost saving of up to 30% against standard non-modulating models of heater. The project was completed within a week, to try to minimise the disruption to our customer.

In August 2015 Warmco were asked to install two Winterwarm TR100, natural gas fired, suspended, warm air space heaters into this 6000 sq.ft. older style, industrial unit, for this Lingerie supplier.

As part of a redesign of their warehouse space, this customer asked us to decommission and remove an old radiant tube heating system, which was no longer fit for purpose. The old system with its system of 'spot heating', was not flexible enough to heat the whole area. This clothing supplier needed the products to be kept dry and the staff in the distribution warehouse to be kept warm, so we installed two Winterwarm TR100 warm air heaters, one at each end of this long building, to reach the desired temperature throughout. The 6m high space also had two WCU40 de-stratification fans installed to redistribute the heat that gathers at the upper level, down into the space below. We were able to flue through the walls on this project to avoid issues related to penetrating an asbestos roof.

Warmco were commissioned to install an extra space heater into a warehouse extension for this previous customer. We chose the natural gas fired, suspended, Winterwarm TR80 space heater to put into this 6,000 sq. ft warehouse area, for this commercial printer, in March 2015.

This previous customer was expanding into a neighbouring unit and asked us to install the same make of heater, as we had previously fitted into their extension. In 2013 we had installed a Winterwarm TR20 and a TR28 into their printing area and we were called in again this year to heat the storage area that they were moving into. The main advantage of the TR80 is that, at full power the 76kw of this model can take the space to the desired temperature quickly, then the unit can modulate its heat output down to 47 kw to simply 'top up' the heat, to maintain that temperature, (as measured by the thermostatic control). This facility can offer fuel savings of up to 30% against a standard non-modulating heater. In order to install this heater we also had to fit 140 feet of pipework. The whole job took us two and a half days to complete and our engineers worked hard to create as little disruption to the customer as is possible.

Warmco were commissioned to install a heating system into this unheated older industrial unit in December 2014, before our customer moved in. We chose the natural gas fired, suspended Winterwarm TR100 for this 6,000 sq.ft. Construction machinery parts warehouse / workshop space.

Our customer was moving into a unit that the previous heating system had been removed from, when the last tenant left. They wanted to create background heating to 15 C, to keep the chill off this warehouse area. The Winterwarm TR100 has the built in capacity to modulate from full power at 101kw, down to 65kw so unlike standard models it will automatically switch to low fire, once the space is up to temperature. This prevents the space from being over heated, saving gas and therefore money. As the unit was 7m high at the apex, we installed a WCU60 de-stratification fan to recirculate the heat that could accumulate at high levels, also saving fuel for the customer. We installed the heater, fan and all associated gas pipe work within a day.

Warmco installed a Winterwarm, TR28, suspended, natural gas fired, warm air heater into this 2,000sq ft. warehouse area for this Mossley based orthotics supplier, in October 2014.

The Warehouse had previously been heated by a Reznor space heater which had reached the end of its life. The new heater needed to be relocated due to the placement of a new mezzanine floor. The modulation facility within this heater gives the capacity to get the area up to temperature (on full fire at 28kw), then reduce to low fire (18kw), to just 'top up' the heat, to maintain the temperature. This facility can offer our customers a saving of up to 30% on fuel cost, relative to standard heaters.

This was another project where Warmco installed the heater and all associated gas pipes work within a day.

Warmco were asked in October 2014 to install a Winterwarm TR28, natural gas fired, suspended, warm air heater into this small 1600sq ft., 10ft high area used as an online marine supplies store in Aldershot, Hampshire.

Previously this space was heated by a Combat space heater, which had been condemned at the end of its life. Our TR28 replacement was to be suspended on the underside of a mezzanine floor and with its compact measurements (of 1040mm (w) x 540mm (h) x 630mm (d)) this model was perfect. The room sealed flue on the outside wall was angled into the small space and the job was completed within a day giving minimum disruption to the customer.

Warmco were commissioned to install a heating system into this unheated small, portal framed unit in March 2014. We chose the Winterwarm TR20 for this 1200sq.ft. warehouse/ workshop space.

The ability to hang this heater from the roof was of paramount importance in this small unit, as it allowed the customer to save precious space on the ground. The Winterwarm TR20 has the built in capacity to modulate from full power at 20kw, down to 13kw so unlike standard models it will automatically switch to low fire, once the unit is up to temperature, preventing this small space from being over heated, saving gas and therefore money. It also prevents the temperature fluctuations that may occur if the heater needed to be switched off to reduce the temperature. Warmco installed the heater and all associated gas pipe work in a day.

In February 2014 Slimming World commissioned Warmco to install two Winterwarm TR80, suspended, gas fired, warm air heaters and five heat recovery fans, into this 16,000 sq. ft. modern portal framed warehouse unit.

These modern 'picking and packing' premises were fully insulated and constructed to latest building regulations, however the issue for this customer was that, as the building was eight to ten metres high, they would typically see an accumulation of heat around the apex of the building. To prevent this heat loss, and to try to create more uniform temperatures for the storage of their products, we suggested the installation of five WCU40 de-stratification fans, to redistribute the accumulating heat and push it back down to the warehouse space below. This would keep the products in the warehouse area at an ambient temperature and damp free, and the workforce happy. Using these heat recovery fans can create up to a 30% reduction in running costs on the system, as re-circulating the heat means that you do not need to heat the air. The fans were carefully positioned around the floor to ceiling racking, so that they did not impede access for the pickers of the Slimming World products. Also, as our modulating heaters will automatically switch to low fire, once the thermostat detects that the area is at the desired temperature, this can show an additional saving of up to 30% on running costs (compared to non-modulating heaters). The whole installation was completed within a week, and we were careful to work around the customer, so that we didn't impede their access for picking products.

In November 2013, we were asked to install a Winterwarm TR80, gas fired, warm air space heater into this tool hire company warehouse and workshop. They had recently moved into the building and were finding that the temperature of the building, being achieved by the existing heaters was just too low.

The Winterwarm TR80 gas fired, warm air, space heater was selected to heat this 3,000 sq. ft. area and it was complemented by a WCU40 destratification fan, to allow the warm air accumulating (in this 6 m high space), to be redistributed within the building. Once the building has been brought up to temperature, on full power (at 76kw), our heater has the ability reduce the burn, (down to 47kw), to 'top up' the heat as necessary. This typically gives a 30% fuel saving, when compared to a standard, non-modulating heater. The heater was installed in a day, to create minimal inconvenience to the customer and we were able to meet their request for a fast response, installing the heater three weeks after the initial winter enquiry.

In November 2013, we installed a Winterwarm TR100, natural gas fired, warm air space heater into this distribution warehouse in Clevedon.

This company had just relocated to this new 4 000 sq. ft. unit and were setting up a pick and pack warehouse in premises which had previously not been heated. Warmco installed a TR100 gas fired heater, which has the capacity to quickly get the space to temperature (to keep the staff happy), but can then modulate its heat output (101kw down to 64kw) according to the temperature of the building, giving an impressive 30% saving on fuel costs.

In July 2013, Warmco were asked to heat two 5000 sq.ft. warehouses so we installed two, Benson PVN72 floor standing, warm air heaters into this older mill property.

We were commissioned to install two Benson PVN72 (72kw), floor-standing, gas fired cabinet heaters into these two despatch areas. The situation of one of these areas within a basement, meant that we were able to use fan assisted, room sealed flue systems, which penetrate the exterior wall of the building, and avoid the additional cost of roof penetration. Warmco also installed all of the steel gas pipe work that was necessary to run the heating system.

In April 2013, Warmco were asked to design a heating system for this 12 000 sq.ft. warehouse in North Wales. We installed two, Winterwarm TR60, suspended, warm air heaters and four destratification fans (in photo appears as unit hanging horizontally from the roof purlings, suspended with chain), into this new building.

When an expansion in sales, saw this existing customer move to new premises, Warmco were asked to install heating into this modern, portal framed building. As this was a large space, we selected high efficiency, natural gas fired, Winterwarm TR60, suspended warm air heaters. These are 91.5% net efficient, as they can modulate their heat output from 76kw on high fire, down to 47kw, once the building is to temperature. As this was a very high building (9m at the eaves and 11m at the apex), we also installed four Winterwarm WCU60 destratification fans, to redistribute the rising warm air. Fitting these can save up to 30% on the running costs of the heating system and is something which we always recommend for buildings over 6m high.

Warmco installed four Winterwarm TR100, natural gas fired, warm air space heaters, and eight destratification (heat recovery) fans, in November 2012.

Our brief was to install a high efficiency, low cost heating system into this 40,000 sq. ft. warehouse that our clients were moving into. When replacing the old inefficient XA400 Reznor heaters, we were asked to create a background warehouse temperature of 13°C and so to achieve this we installed four of our Winterwarm TR100 warm air heaters. The project also involved the addition of eight WCU80 destratification fans, which recirculate the warm air that has risen within the building, reducing the need to fire the heaters. When you combine the use of fans, with modulating heaters (that can fire from 101kw to get a building to temperature, down to 65kw, to just 'top up' the heat), it creates a very efficient heating system. Four heaters working together modulating from 404kw, down to 260kw, would make a huge reduction on fuel costs, compared to standard, non-modulating heaters.

Warmco installed this Winterwarm TR80, natural gas fired, warm air space heater, with a destratification (heat recovery) fan in January 2012.

This commission involved the heating of a 4000 sq. ft. warehouse, which our clients were moving into. We were asked to heat the area to a target temperature of 20°C and to achieve this we installed our TR80 warm air heater. This job also involved the addition of a destratification fan, which recirculates the warm air that has risen within the building, to reduce the need to fire the heaters. When you combine the use of fans, with a modulating heater (that can fire from 76kw to get a building to temperature, down to 47kw, to just 'top up' the heat), it creates a very efficient heating system. This model has a powerful 30m horizontal air throw, and if required for your working environment is quiet at just 52dB (A), at 5m from the unit.

Warmco installed this Winterwarm TR50, natural gas fired, warm air space heater, with a destratification fan in March 2010 and now service the heating equipment on an annual basis on a Warmco Service Contract.

When you combine the use of fans, with a modulating heater (that can fire from 50kw to get a building to temperature, down to 32kw, to just 'top up' the heat), it creates a very efficient heating system. During the winter of 2009 - 2010 Warmco were asked to replace three Combat CUHA240 suspended gas, warm air, heaters with one TR80 and three of our TR100s (TR100 shown), in this warehouse space in Chesterfield, South Yorkshire. The heat exchangers on the Combat units were cracked and as we offer a ten year warranty on our heat exchangers, our product was selected as a suitable replacement by the customer. There was also a requirement for a system with low noise levels and because of the ability of our heaters to modulate and run on low fire (once the space is heated to temperature); low noise output was also a feature that our system could offer.

Warmco installed two Winterwarm, suspended, natural gas fired unit heaters in February 2012. Firstly a TR50 (rated 50kw to 32kw) heater was put into the warehouse area of approximately 3000sq. ft, then a TR20, (rated 20kw to 13kw), suspended gas heater was placed in an area of around 2000sq. ft., to heat a storage space. The heaters were installed within two days.

One Ambirad UPA90 suspended gas heater was installed to heat a warehouse area of 7,500 sq feet at Rochdale, in Lancashire. Warmco also fitted one Winterwarm WCU100 destratification (heat recovery) fan to help stop stratification and to save up to 30% on running costs.

Warehouse Heating Solution For Lesjofors Springs at Elland, near Halifax, West Yorkshire

Warmco supplied and installed two Winterwarm TR60 suspended gas fired heater in a new warehouse area of 10,000 sq feet at Elland, in West Yorkshire. The heat output of system modulates from a combined output of 120kw down to 78kw on low fire. The supply air output from the industrial heaters also varies so this enables the heaters to provide a more even temperature throughout the working day and also save up to 30% on running costs. Furthermore three Winterwarm WCU60 destratification fans were installed to help combat heat stratification.

Warehouse Heating Solution For Doorstop International at Huthwaite, Near Mansfield, Nottinghamshire

Nordair Niche air rotation unit heater

Two Nordair-Niche IDF21 250 High Efficiency Air Rotation Unit Heaters were installed by Warmco, in the new 100,000 sq feet warehouse and factory premises for Doorstop International near Mansfield, Nottinghamshire. The two heaters have a combined maximum output of 500kw and have the capacity to modulate down to 125kw on low fire. The heaters are above 91 net efficiency so they qualify for Enhanced Capital Allowance. Each heater was fitted with a Trend IQ212 control system with internal sensors. Two key advantages of these heaters are they don't require the extra expense of detratification fans to operate efficiently and they also have a high heat and air capacity, this enables the heaters to heat very large areas with only a minimum number of heaters, substantially reducing installation costs.
