Customer Brief:

This essential healthcare provider needed to keep their products cool to prevent the goods from perishing. We were able to access their premises during March 2020, the lockdown period to assist them to continue to supply the healthcare industry.

Features of the Heating System:

We installed two Breezair TBS50-G high efficiency evaporative cooling units. One unit was placed onto the roof of two separate 2400 sq.ft. / 18ft high warehouse areas. Each of these Breezair units draws the hot outside air through the water-soaked pads within the unit, to cool it down, before it is pushed into the building. These operate at a 10,010 per hour air flow and with a 16.8kw cooling capacity. To create a balanced cooling system, we also fitted a Vent Axia Euro series (ESP) 560mm wall fan in each area to draw warmed air out of the building. Together the cooling units and fans had the capacity to give seven air changes per hour. Due to the installation of the warehouse racking, in this setting the vents were placed at a high level. This project was completed within four days, at the start of lockdown, to help get the distribution centre up and running to ease the supply of essential medical equipment.
