Customer Brief:

Warmco installed an energy efficient factory heating system for Bendalls Engineering in March 2026. Our customer had recently built a brand new portal framed building and needed some heating. We chose to install one Powrmatic VX90 gas floor standing cabinet heater, in this 7,500 sq.ft. factory area, for this engineering company.

Features of the Heating System

For this factory heating system Warmco specified and installed a Powrmatic VX90 floor-standing cabinet heater. One of the key advantages of the VX90 is that the four nozzles mounted on the top of the heaters distribute hot air in four directions. We also installed three powerful Powrmatic CECx 6500 destratification fans 17m high up, to push down and recirculate hot air that would accumulate at the top of the 18.5m high building. On buildings over 5m high, adding these fans can give a saving of up to 30% on fuel costs. Also, the fan assisted room sealed flue on the heater, let us flue through outside wall. This reduced our installation time. The factory heating system project was completed within two days, creating as little disruption to our customer.
