Customer Brief:

Our customer was looking for an energy efficient heating solution for their 8,000 sq ft showroom in Chesterfield, where they display injection moulding machinery. We were asked to replace their older, less efficient, Combat CUHA240 heater in January 2018.

Features of the Heating System:

We installed a Winterwarm TR80 high efficiency gas fired heater that has a modulating heat output from 76kw to 47kw. The heater replaced an older and less efficient Combat heater. The flue for the old heater exited the building through the roof, but on the new heater we installed a wall penetrating flue, through an outside wall to avoid the risk of water ingress in future. In a high building such as this, we would normally advise the installation of de-stratification fans, but this unit already had fans in situ which were recirculating the warm air effectively.
