Customer Brief:

This specialist flooring company asked us to install a heating system which would fit the heating requirements of their retail space; we were commissioned to install direct replacements for older inefficient Reznor gas fired heaters, which were already in place.

Features of the Heating System:

In the larger showroom, we installed three XR50s, which can quickly heat the area up to the desired temperature, but it also has the capacity to modulate down can modulate from 50kw down to 30kw once the area is to temperature. In this showroom area this gave our customer full modulation potential of 150kw for initial heating, down to just 90kw on low fire to top up the heat; thus offering a saving compared to other standard heaters of up to 30%. We installed an XR30 natural gas, suspended warm air heater to heat the smaller warehouse space. All of these heaters benefit from having stainless steel heat exchangers which are particularly robust and adds substantially to the lifespan of these heaters. The project was completed within a week, to create minimal disruption to our customer.
