Customer Brief:
Warmco installed an energy efficient warehouse heating system for Gardner Aerospace in February 2022. Our customer had recently moved into this new portal framed building and needed some heating. We chose to put three Powrmatic VPX140 gas cabinet heaters, in this 35,000 sq.ft. warehouse area, for this aerospace components manufacturer.
Features of the Heating System
For this warehouse heating system Warmco specified and installed Powrmatic VPX140 floor-standing cabinet heaters, to heat this larger space. One of the advantages of the VPX140 is that the four nozzles mounted on the top of the heaters distribute hot air in four directions. We also installed six Powrmatic CECX3350 destratification fans high up, to push down and recirculate hot air that would accumulate at the top of the 7m high building. On buildings over 5m high, adding these fans can give a saving of up to 30% on fuel costs. Also, the fan assisted flues on these heaters, let us flue through outside walls. This reduced our installation time. The warehouse heating system project was completed within a week, creating as little disruption to our customer our possible.
