Customer Brief:

Warmco installed an energy efficient warehouse heating system for Hubrx Ltd, a pharmaceuticals supplier, in June 2022. We installed four XR50 Winterwarm, natural gas fired, suspended, warm air space heaters into this 33,000 sq ft, new portal framed warehouse building.

Features of the Heating System:

These brand new 33,000 sq. ft. premises needed a modern, efficient heating system. We installed four Warmco XR50 suspended heaters. These have a combined maximum heat output of 200kw (50kw each), which can be used to quickly get the space up to temperature. Once this has been achieved, they have the capacity to modulate their heat output down to save fuel. At low fire they have a cumulative 120kw output (30kw each), to top up the heat as required. This feature offers a typical fuel cost saving of up to 30% against standard non-modulating models. We also installed eight CECX4500 Powrmatic destratification fans which will redistribute the heat that would otherwise gather at the 11m high apex of the building. The ability to recirculate and re-use this heat, can offer our customer an additional fuel cost saving of up to 30%. This warehouse heating project was completed within one week. Our engineers worked hard to create minimal disruption to our customer.
