Customer Brief:

We were asked to offer a heating solution which would heat this large area in the most energy efficient way possible.

Features of the Heating System:

In this large 280m x 60m building we quoted to supply and install twelve Powrmatic VPX140 heaters. These tall cabinet heaters, were equally spaced along the length of the building, with one heater approximately every 20 metres. We also hung 44 CECX Calecon 6500, de-stratification fans, throughout the building to re-distribute any heat gathering in the upper reaches. This fan can has the capacity to recirculate 11,040m3/hr of air back down into the factory. I this building with an average height of 14.5 metres, this heat recovery system, could typically save our customer up to 30% on their fuel running costs.
