Customer Brief

In July 2022, Warmco were asked to install a variety of heaters into several areas from 6,000 sq.ft. to 500 sq.ft. of this factory, including two Winterwarm XR50 and an XR30, suspended, natural gas fired, warm air space heater, plus two Winterwarm EH40 electric suspended heaters.

Features of the Heating System

For this project we were asked to provide space heaters for various parts of this factory where our customer manufactures equipment for the leisure industry. The premises had some heaters which had reached the end of their life and an area which had not previously been heated. The system was designed so that the two XR50s would heat the main 6,000 sq.ft. production area, and one XR30 would heat the warehouse, whilst one of the EH10 electric heaters would heat the social room, and the other one, the production repair room. As our modulating heaters will automatically switch to low fire when the thermostat detects that the areas have reached the desired temperature, this can also save an additional 30% (compared to non-modulating heaters). For example, the Winterwarm XR50 modulates from 50kw on high fire and modulates down to 30kw on low fire and the electric EH10 modulates from 10kw to 3kw. The installation was completed around a week and importantly for many customers, it was completed on schedule. Our engineers worked around production to minimise the disruption to our customer.
