Customer Brief:

Warmco installed an energy efficient warehouse heating system for this new Wilson’s Carpets showroom, in January 2025. We installed two Winterwarm XR60 PLUS, high efficiency, natural gas fired, suspended, warm air space heaters into this 17,000 sq ft, portal frame building.

Features of the Heating System:

These 17,000 sq. ft. premises needed a modern, efficient heating system. We installed two Warmco XR60 PLUS suspended heaters. These have a combined maximum heat output of 122kw (61kw each), which can be used to quickly get the space up to temperature. Once this has been achieved, they have the capacity to modulate their heat output down to save fuel. At low fire they have a cumulative 74kw output (37.9kw each), to top up the heat as required. This feature offers a typical fuel cost saving of up to 30% against standard non-modulating models. We also installed five WCU60 heat recovery fans which will redistribute the heat that would otherwise gather at the 9m high apex of the building. The ability to recirculate and re-use this heat, can offer our customer an additional fuel cost saving of up to 30%. This retail warehouse heating project was completed within four days and was scheduled to be ready for the opening of the showroom. Our engineers worked hard to create minimal disruption to the setting up of the space for our customer.
