Customer Brief:

Warmco were commissioned to replace two older Powrmatic PGUH40 heaters in this regenerated warehouse bar in Leeds city centre. The existing heaters were out of date and replacing parts was proving to be expensive for the customer.

Features of the Heating System:

Warmco disconnected and took down the existing heater, then capped off the gas supply. We then relocated our Winterwarm XR into a more central location, to create a better heat distribution. One of the advantages of the XR10 is that, at full power the 13kw of this model can take the space to the desired temperature, then it can modulate its heat output down to 8kw to simply ‘top up’ the heat to maintain that temperature, (measured by the thermostatic control). As well as creating an ambiente temperature for customers, this modulation facility can offer fuel savings of up to 30% against a standard non-modulating heater. We were also able to fit a fan assisted, room sealed flue, which allows fresh air to be drawn into the burner from outside, for more efficient heat generation. The installation work was completed within two days, to create as little disruption to the customer and their trade, as was possible.
