Customer Brief:

Warmco was asked to install an energy efficient, oil fueled warehouse heating system for Worrall Architectural Solutions, in March 2024. We installed a Powrmatic OUH 60, suspended, oil powered, warm air heater in this modern, 6,000 sq. ft. brand new, portal framed warehouse unit in Rotherham, South Yorkshire.

Features of the Heating System:

This warehouse was used to store, then pick and pack architectural ironmongery products. It required background heating to keep the workforce warm through the winter. The OUH60 oil heater automatically modulates from 60kw down to 45kw, to top up the heat, once the thermostat reads that the area is at the set temperature. This can create a fuel cost saving of up to 30%, compared to non-modulating heaters. Another key advantage of these heaters is that they come with a stainless steel heat exchanger as standard, to enhance the life of the heater. These suspended oil heaters can be either hung from roof purlins or they can be fixed on wall brackets; saving valuable space on the ground. We also installed two WCU40 de-stratification fans to push down the heat that would gather in the upper levels of the building, also offering a fuel cost saving of up to 30%. This warehouse heating installation was completed within two days. We worked efficiently around the customer to limit any disruption to their work.
